What you aren't listening to but SHOULD BE

So these are a collection of songs I have been listening to for the last month or so, a lot of them you have heard of, others you haven't, a good portion of them you might not usually give a chance but do it...they are addictive!
Enjoy!

Sweet Ass video

Keep my feet moving, keep my feet moving

Hope for A.M- EP

Fun dance band who are releasing another EP soon, im hoping with more songs, when i first heard these guys I thought right away- FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS...if you are a fan of them you will like Hope For A.M. PLus ladies check out the eyes on the lead singer...GGGGGG-orgeous!

Hope For A.M EP

This is the history of you and me and how it went down

Exit4- An Ordinary Tragedy
(Sampler ?!?)

So I'm calling this a 'Sampler' because my magic ways aren't allowing me to find the complete album by this band, so it's 5 songs off the full length album 'An Ordinary Tragedy' by Exit4. Great band out of New Jersey, if you like old NFG you will like them....you might just like them anyway!
(BTW I love the song Your Eyes!)

Mandy Moore- I Could Break Your Heart Any Day of The Week (SINGLE){haha funny since she just got married!}

Mandy Moore's new single and I love it, I have sampled her entire new album and its classic and classy just like her last album Wild Hope (If you didn't like that album i doubt you will like this one however I suggest you give this song). This song will be featured on her new album Amanda Leigh coming out this spring (April 31st if my memory is correct)!

Musical stage orgy

We live like we're on the west coast

That Was Something- Down but Not Out EP

Three words to describe how I feel about this band...I LOVE THEM! Hands down one of the best things to come out of the state of Michigan! Although a minor change in vocalist early on changed the style of the songs a bit, and added some new members but I stuck with them through the change and came out even more in love with them, I mean who can deny the amazing vocals of Brad? Not me.
(BTW, my fav is Till The Wheels Fall Off)

2. For The Fame
3. If It´s Up To Us
4. Back Down Lady
5. Till The Wheels Fall Off

That Was Something-Bears!

Just as good as Down But Not Out, with the original singer however so when you listen to one then the other you will notice a difference (just thought I would clue in those few who aren't fans...but you should be a fan)
(BTW, I Don't Want to Go Back In the Bag is my fav, I have a few others but I picked this one above the others)

01. Life In Costumation
02. Here Comes Treble
03. I Don't Wanna Go Back In the Bag
04. Affirmative!
05. New York City
06. Revenge
07. Go Get a Switch and Turn Yourself On
08. Uptight, In the Middle of the Night
09. The Wedding
10. Your Song
11. Not Now Chief, I'm In the Zone!

She's a black widow best friend- cold as the cock of a colt 45

The Bigger Lights- Fiction Fever EP

I LOVE these guys, they were a random find on Myspace, and they have yet to let me down. They have a sound combination you could compare to We The Kings meets Danger Radio. Although the EP has been out awhile, I figure I can plug these guys as some upcoming summer jams for your car...if I had a car in Toronto I would blast them with the windows open.
(BTW I don't Have a fav here...i love them all)

NEW GAVIN DEGRAW!
Store Release March 31st 2009
Personally I already have the album and have been listening to it for days and I LOVE IT! I have loved everything Gavin has done, however unlike the last album this is stripped down to its core, and left as beautiful guitar and piano ballads which are truly awe-inspiring. The album is great for just relaxing too, or in my case and like many of my friend studying for finales to!
Enjoy!
(BTW My fav track is Glass- and yes it was featured on the latest episode of One Tree Hill)

Track Listing:
1. Indian Summer
2. Free
3. Stay
4. Mountains To Move

What I did during Anthropology

Hey! I'm Mandie, I'm new to this (obvs), I wanted to start this blog so I could share new music with my friends and well whoever else is reading this! I generally look up new music and try and find music when I'm in Anthropology class (I'm currently in 3....its my major) so I figured the name of this blog is appropriate. Either way I'll post new music, old music, what I'm listening to, what I think will be big and up and coming, whatever I feel like really. We will see how long I keep this up for!
